The proceeds are going to a charity for single parents. Though the Briggs and their supporters have claimed the book is putting money in the Judge's pocket, it's not. The book was written to tell the true version about Kelsey and to help other single parents like Raye Dawn.

The Briggs have exploited Kelsey's memory for money and continue to lie about what happened in her case and certain youtube users are perpetuating the lies and calling them truth. It's disturbing how they claim to be doing it for Kelsey when they don't care about Kelsey at all because of their lack of interest in what really happened. Update - Raye's sentence of 27 years was confirmed by the court judge. He's an older man who is about to retire and never goes against a jury verdict. Raye is now in the process of her appeal.

At Raye's trial it was proven that Kelsey was with Kathie and/or Lance Briggs when her legs were broken. The attorney general agreed in Raye's appeal that neither Raye Dawn or Mike Porter had anything to do with Kelsey's broken legs.
